Every year towards the end of October an email comes round asking for tracks for the Joyzine Advent Calendar, and every year I try to record something for them because, basically, I like Christmas songs. In 2018 I was looking to add a few more Actual Christmas Carols to the 'Christmas Selection Box' album so had a look for what might be, frankly, easy to play.

When I realised that this song was easy enough for me to play on the Ukelele (i.e. VERY easy) the ARRANGEMENT was arranged. It all came out a bit LOUDER and JOLLIER than I guess 'Silent Night' is meant to be, but I rather like it - especially the BASS LINE which I spent AGES playing!
