Simon from Sweepingthenation had an idea to get bands he knew to record cover versions of Number Ones from the 1970s. I decided to do this one because a) I like to be ORNERY and b) I like it. I like it a lot MORE now that I've recorded it, as it revealed LAYERS of SADNESS in the lyrics that I've never noticed before, it's lovely.

Not many other people LEAPT IN for the covers project, so it didn't really happen as originally visualised, but this song did appear on the blog for a bit.
