Hello all, and welcome to this HALF CENTURY edition of the newsletter. Let's GO!
GIGS TO COME
A brief LULL of gigs this month before the mighty STORM that will be the ALBUM TOUR:
Tuesday March 31 - The Lamb, London
(Totally Acoustic with The Gresham Flyers and George Death)
Friday April 3 - The White Star, Stoke
('My Exciting Life In ROCK')
Thursday April 30 - The Lamb, London
(Totally Acoustic with The Lime Chalks)
More details, as ever, at http://www.mjhibbett.net/gigs/gigs.htm
GIGS WE'VE DONE
It's been a slightly strange month of gigs - two gigs at The Hangover Lounge (one doing the QUIZ, the other 'My Exciting Life in ROCK'), THREE gigs (in Cambridge, Croydon and Brighton) where audiences verging on ZERO were more than made up for by the lovely people who DID come, and one gig doing a John Otway song for somebody's birthday party!
RECORDS
Our fourth album, 'Regardez, Ecoutez et Repetez' will FINALLY be released on 11 May. It'll be available from shops, online retailers, on download sites and directly from www.mjhibbett.com. The first review is HERE:

As usual we'll be doing a special early bird offer for people on the mailing list. We've got a very limited supply of booklets containing lyrics, notes and chords for all the songs which will be going out for free to the first fifty or so people who buy the album directly from us. They're LOVELY!
There'll also be some super-cheap offers for combining albums with t-shirts - these are in EXTREMELY limited supply though (there's only one medium ukelele t-shirt left, for instance!) so I'd advise getting in QUICK. The special early bird site will be open from business at 10am UK time on April 22nd, HERE:

Set your alarms!
In other news, we're also going to release 'Being Happy Doesn't Make You Stupid' as a free download single on 27 April (at http://www.mjhibbett.net/beinghappy/) which will be accompanied by a RATHER GROOVY video, in the form of an ADVERT for the album. EXCITING!
OTHER THINGS
'My Exciting Life In ROCK' is drawing to a close, for now, with two more shows. One's in Stoke this weekend, and the final one will be in Brighton on May 16, as part of the Brighton Fringe Festival.
'Dinosaur Planet', meanwhile, continues to GROW - I've nearly finished writing the songs for it, and hope to be doing some PREVIEWS around July. We're BOOKED back at The Medina for the Edinburgh Fringe - dates and times are at www.dinosaurplanet.co.uk should you wish to DIARISE!
And finally, I'm getting involved in THIS:
http://exvotojukebox.blogspot.com/
It's an idea to generate some SONGS based on people's stories - do have a look and see if you fancy sending some in!
And that, at last, is your LOT for now. Thanks for listening all through this bumper pack of FACT, and see you next time!
Cheers,
Mark
