The Last Working Day Of The Month: Issue 182

< issue 181 issue 183 >
(MJ Hibbett & The Validators FACT, May 31st 2021)

Hello all, and welcome to this BANK HOLIDAY1 edition of the newsletter - let's get started!

GIGS TO COME
Saturday 26 June - The Furnace, Derby
The Validators return to The Furnace's beer festival, playing at 4pm.

GIGS PAST AND FUTURE
I've been unearthing some videos of previously unseen old shows over on the blog, HERE:
http://mjhibbett.co.uk/blog/

Why not use them to practise for the return of Actual Gigs by simply charging yourself too much for beer beforehand and then starting the video 10 minutes late?

IN SESSION
I recorded a session for Stuart McHugh's Regal Radio show featuring a brand new song called 'Why Do Bad Things Happen To Good People?' as well as some old favourites and a cover of Jane and John's first single. You can Listen Again HERE:

JANE AND JOHN
Jane and John are releasing a new double A-side single on Monday 7 June, called 'Here At Last / Boing Boing'. 'Here At Last' is about getting together with people again to cheer on your team while 'Boing Boing' is about the ups and downs of life, CUNNINGLY intertwined with a tennis metaphor. Find out more by following Jane and John on Twitter, HERE:
https://twitter.com/janeandjohnband

And that's enough for now I think - thanks for listening and maybe see some of you in real life soon-ish!

Cheers,

Mark

1not everybody has the day off on a bank holiday, actually, so the timing of this newsletter is definitely a tribute to our vital key workers, and nothing to do with me forgetting that I should have sent it on Friday.
