The Last Working Day Of The Month: Issue 115

< issue 114 issue 116 >
(MJ Hibbett & The Validators FACT, September 30th 2014)

Hello all, and welcome to this AUTUMNAL edition of the newsletter - we've got podcasts, musicals and even CHRISTMAS to talk about this time, so let's get to it!

GIGS TO COME
Thursday 9 October - The King & Queen, London
Totally Acoustic with The Mini-Skips and Winston Echo (performing the world premiere of "Jurassic Park: The Musical").

Saturday 18 October - University Arms, Sheffield
With Horowitz and The Thyme Machine.

Check http://www.mjhibbett.co.uk/gigs/gigs.php for more information.

TOTALLY ACOUSTIC
The series continues next week with The Mini-Skips and Winston Echo at The King & Queen. "Doors" are 7pm, the show starts at half past and we'll all be done well before 10pm for BEER. If you need any further persuading, you can listen to the previous podcasts (including last month's excellent evening with David Leach and Tim Eveleigh) HERE:

HEY HEY 16K
Steve and I are now BOOKED to perform the new show at The Leicester Comedy Festival next year for our usual two nights at The Criterion and we've got our first proper read-through later this month. There'll hopefully be some warm-up shows before then, but while you're waiting you can always catch up with "Total Hero Team", still very much available to stream and download HERE:

EASY CHRISTMAS
Fans of Christmas REJOICE, for LO! The Validators have a new Christmas song! It's called "Easy Christmas" and we'll be recording it at the end of November for release during ADVENT as part of the ongoing "Christmas Selection Box" album.

AND FINALLY
It has been brought to my attention that there's a chapter in Christopher Brookmyre's book "Bedlam" called "We Bought It To Help With Your Homework." I think that's rather delightful!

And I think that's about it for this month - thanks for listening!

Cheers,

Mark
