Do not think, however, that THE ROCK was ignored during this time of BLISS. No indeed, for LO! I had WORK to do, including writing my latest column for SANDMAN and then finishing off a new song, The Mystery Train, which has lyrics and also long rambling annotations online now. There's quite a few song ideas RUMBLING AROUND at the moment, so hopefully there'll be a few more up soon!

Hello Mark.
I think you're being slightly unfair to the rail companies. They were actually asked some years back by the Government to replace late night services with buses (or just cancel them) as the Government thought this would save some money. What I didn't understand is why they told Thames Trains to do away with some of their late night services since I thought they operated without a subsidy.
I can't easily find anything definite about it on the web (although this seems relevant - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/2806285.stm), but I remember reading signs for it at Waterloo station when I lived in Brentford (so it would have been 2002/2003.

No, sorry, at the moment it's just on the extras for the CD version of Regardez, Ecoutez et Repetez!
