The Last Working Day Of The Month: Issue 66
|< issue 65||issue 67 >|
Hello everybody - we've got Fringe festivals, videos, Indietracks, albums and MORE to talk about this time, so let's GET GOING!
GIGS TO COME
It's Dinosaur Planet time AT LAST! Edinburgh and Camden Fringe dates are as follows:
Thursday 5 August to Saturday 14 August
The GRV 37 Guthrie Street, Edinburgh EH1 1JG
Saturday 21 August to Sunday 22 August
The Camden Head, 100 Camden High St, London NW1 0LU
Check http://www.mjhibbett.co.uk/gigs/gigs.php for more information.
If you're up in Edinburgh or INDEED down in Camden while we're playing it'd be GRATE to see some people there - if you need some gentle persuasion we've just put a TRAILER up for this year's show, HERE:
As ever, any help passing this around would be VERY gratefully received! And if that's not enough, here's some LIVE FOOTAGE:
As you can tell from the above, we've been HUGELY enjoying the previews (and I _think_ the audiences have too). I can't quite believe it's nearly Fringe Time though - yikes!
INDIETRACKS / FOREST MOON OF ENDERBY
MANY thanks to everyone who came to see us at Indietracks - we had an absolutely bloody fantastic time ESPECIALLY during our set, which was pretty much the most enjoyable gig we've ever done.
We sold quite a few advance copies of "Forest Moon Of Enderby" afterwards, so thanks ALSO to everyone who made a purchase, and hope you enjoy it! It'll be released officially sometime in October and, as ever, it'll be available a bit early to people on the newsletter. More news of that next time!
This month's album added to bandcamp is our DEBUT, "Say It With Words". It features "Hey Hey 16K", "Payday Is The Best Day" and a whole bunch of other songs from our (comparative) youth. That's all our Studio Albums online now, so next month it'll be "Warriors Of Nanpantan"!
DINOSAUR PLANET: THE ALBUM
This weekend we finished off recording nearly ALL the vocals for this and rough mixes of the songs are now with THE CAST. That's a pretty big milestone in anybody's book of Rock Management, so we're having a break for a few weeks before we start to put together the sound effects and dialogue sections. we're still looking to get this released next year, hopefully in the Spring, but there's a LOT of explosions to overdub between now and then!
We've just announced names and dates for the next SEASON of Totally Acoustic from October to Christmas - LOTS more information about this next time, but for those who like to DIARISE, you might like to take a look HERE:
And I think that's MORE than enough for now - thanks for listening, and see you after the Fringe!
