Blog: The Uberset: Now In Stock
I've just update the MJ HIBBETT ONLINE EMPORIUM with THE UBERSET, so if you can't get to one of the next few gigs and are EAGER to buy a copy... you can! It's six quid (which, as usual, includes packing anywhere in the world) and I must say I think it's RATHER lovely!
The tracklisting is THUS:
The Peterborough All-Saints' Wide Game Team (Group B)
The Lesson Of The Smiths
Good Luck In Your New Job
Red & White Sockets
Things'll Be Different (when I'm in charge)
Hey Hey 16K
Work's All Right (when it's a proper job)
Never Going Back To Aldi's
The Perfect Love Song
Fucking Hippy
Clubbing In The Week
I Come From The Fens
Easily Impressed
Boom Shake The Room
I actually used MATH to get the basic running order - it's based on the songs I've done most often over the past year, in the ORDER that i've played them. Oh yes, i have a DATABASE of setlists my friends, it is a thing of JOY! It DID get rejigged a bit - for instance, "The Lesson Of The Smiths" is usually nearer the end, but it FLOWED a bit better with it near the start of the CD, "I Come From The Fens" doesn't get played THAT often, but now that we've nearly sold out of "Milk & Baubles" i wanted it SOMEWERE, and "Good Luck In Your New Job" is there because i fancied having something Actually NEW on there somewhere.
Anyway, i am WELL CHUFFED with - it's a list devised USING MATHEMATICS for maximum ROCK, and it has a picture of me doing KARATE on the front cover! Why doesn't EVERYBODY do their live albums this way?
